OnePlus 15 India Launch Soon with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

The OnePlus 15 will launch in China on October 27th and will be available in India soon. The company has also published a microsite for India, indicating that the phone will launch in India soon. The Indian version is expected to have many of the same features as the Chinese version. The company has already shared some key details about the phone. 

It is learned that the OnePlus 15 will feature a third-generation 1.5K BOE Flexible Orientation OLED display, a 7,300mAh battery, and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The phone will run on OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16. 

OnePlus 15 Specifications (Confirmed) 

In a post on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo, the company confirmed that the handset will feature a 7,300mAh battery with 120W Super Flash Charge and 50W Wireless Flash Charge support. This means that this flagship handset will have a significantly larger battery than the OnePlus 13. It's worth noting that the OnePlus 13 has a 6000mAh battery. 

For speed and multitasking, the OnePlus 15 uses Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Based on Android 16, the phone will run ColorOS 16, but in India it will launch with OxygenOS 16. 

OnePlus 15 Features (Expected) 

Regarding the camera setup, the handset is expected to feature a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel secondary camera, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. Currently, there's no information about the phone's front camera. 

OnePlus 15 Price in India (Expected) 

The exact price of this phone will be known at launch, but leaks so far suggest that the handset could be priced between ₹65,000 and ₹75,000. Talking about competition, if the phone is indeed launched in this price range, then it will compete with smartphones like Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 5G, Vivo X100 and iPhone 16.
