Preparations are in full swing for the Realme GT 8 series launch in India. This series will include the Realme GT 8 and Realme GT 8 Pro, which the company has been teasing. The brand has not yet officially announced a launch date. However, a recent leak suggests that the Realme GT 8 series will launch in India on November 20th! This information was provided by tipster Yogesh Brar, and confirmation from the company is now awaited.

Realme GT 8 Series Dates Leaked on Social Media

Posting on the social media platform Twitter, a tipster shared the names and launch dates of the flagship smartphones launching in November. The Realme GT 8 Pro's India launch date is stated to be November 20th. As we mentioned, the company has not yet released any official information regarding this, so this date is currently considered merely a leak.

Realme GT 8 Series Specifications (Expected)

The microsite reveals that the Indian variant of the Realme GT 8 Pro will feature the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor as its Chinese variant. It has also been confirmed that it will feature a Ricoh GR-tuned rear camera unit. It will also be equipped with a HyperVision AI chip.

Realme launched the Realme GT 8 Pro alongside the Realme GT 8 in China on October 21st. The 12GB/256GB storage variant is priced at CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs. 50,000) and the 16GB/1TB storage variant is priced at CNY 5,199 (approximately Rs. 64,000). The smartphone is available in blue, white, and green colors.

In China, the Realme GT 8 Pro features a 6.79-inch QHD+ AMOLED flexible display with a resolution of 1440×3136 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, a peak brightness of 7,000 nits, 1.07 billion colors, 508ppi pixel density, and a 3,200Hz touch sampling rate.

The phone is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 internal storage. The smartphone is backed by a 7,000mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging support.
