India won the T20 World Cup 2024 final by registering a brilliant 68-run win against England. Team India will play the T20 World Cup final after 10 years. It will clash with South Africa on 29 June. After this strong victory, captain Rohit Sharma praised the team’s performance. He said that all the players together have shown a good effort.

After the match, Rohit said, it is very pleasant to win. As a team, we have worked very hard and everyone together has shown a good effort. The conditions were very challenging, but we managed to adjust well. This has been our success story so far. If the batsman and bowler adjust to the conditions, then things are good.
Rohit praised the spinners
Rohit further said, at one time even 140-150 was looking like a score. Suryakumar and I were thinking that we have to score 20-25 runs extra and we also got runs in the middle overs. I did not want to let it go like that and my thought was that the batsmen should play according to their natural instincts. 171 was a very good score, the bowlers did a great job. Axar and Kuldeep are amazing spinners. It is not easy to play shots against them in these conditions.
Sharma said a big thing on Virat Kohli’s form
Rohit Sharma said, we understand Kohli‘s class. When you have played 15 years of cricket, form does not matter much. Probably he is saving it for the final. As a team we have been calm. The final is a big occasion, but being calm helps in taking good decisions. I think today we were calm and we did not show nervousness.
