Not one but many big films are going to hit the theaters in the month of August. The craze is for Allu Arjun starrer ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’. ‘Singham Again’ was also going to be released along with ‘Pushpa 2’, but now Rohit Shetty’s film has been postponed. However, Pushparaj’s troubles have not reduced as ‘Stree 2’ is coming.
Stree 2 release date changed
It has entered the fray to compete with Pushparaj. The sequel of ‘Stree’ is coming after 6 years. Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao’s film, released in 2018, was a big hit at the box office. Its sequel was awaited for a long time, whose release date has also been revealed.
Dinesh Vijan’s ‘Stree 2’ was announced last year. At that time the release date of this film was fixed as 31 August 2024. But now it has been changed. In a post released on June 14, it has been told that the film will not be released on 31 August but on 15 August i.e. on the occasion of Independence Day.

Stree 2 will compete with these films
‘Stree 2’ is going to compete with big giants. Box office’s biggest player Allu Arjun’s film ‘Pushpa 2’ is also coming to theaters on the same day. After the success of ‘Pushpa’, the audience is counting the days for the sequel. Apart from ‘Pushpa 2’, ‘Stree 2’ will clash with Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and John Abraham’s ‘Veda’. Now it has to be seen which of these films wins.
Teaser of ‘Stree 2’ will come in theaters only
Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films has played a masterstroke. Actually, the sequel of ‘Stree 2’ will be directly in front of the audience in theaters on Friday i.e. 14 June along with the horror-comedy ‘Munjya’. A video has been shared on the Instagram handle, in which Munjya comes with the background music of ‘Stree’. The teaser will be shown after the film ‘Munjya’ ends in theaters. Sharing this video, the caption reads, “O Friday, come early because both Munjya and Stree are waiting.”
