Actor Sonakshi Sinha is prepared to make her relationship with entertainer Zaheer Iqbal official by getting hitched to him. Now, the groom-to-be’s father, Iqbal Ratansi, told Free Press Journal in an interview that it will be a civil marriage and that Sonakshi will not convert.
‘Marriage Will Not Be Done By Either Ritual’ – Zaheer’s Father
In an interview with Free Press Journal, Zaheer’s father provided some inside information regarding the marriage as images from the celebrations emerged.
“It will have neither Hindu or Muslim ceremonies. It will be a common marriage,” he said.
According to the Special Marriage Act of 1954, the couple will wed after giving the marriage registrar the required one-month notice. He suggested that the wedding, which was set for June 23, might take place at his Carter Road home.
