Now, let's move on to the story told in the teaser. As the name suggests, "Tere Ishq Mein" is the story of a heartbroken couple. It features two heartbroken lovers who meet at a crucial juncture in their lives, and their love story goes through a challenging journey.

 In the teaser, actress Kriti Sanon, dressed in a yellow suit, is seen sitting at her Haldi ceremony, surrounded by a crowd resembling wedding preparations. Everyone is busy with the wedding preparations, while the actress looks sadly towards the door. In the next scene, Dhanush enters the door, his eyes filled with sadness, hinting at a breakup. 

He walks towards Kriti. Dhanush has an injury in one eye, and according to the story, his clothes suggest he is returning from his father's funeral in Varanasi. Dhanush is holding a pot full of Ganga water and tells Kriti, "You are going to start a new life, first wash away your past sins." And then he pours the entire pot of Ganga water on Kriti Sanon.

One dialogue of Dhanush in this film will send shivers down the spine of the audience: "Shankar kare tere beta ho, tujhe pata chale ki ishq me jo mar jete hain, woh bhi kisi ke bete hote hain." There are many such heart-wrenching dialogues in the film.
