The duo of Munjya's producers Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik started their horror comedy universe through the film Stree. This film starring Rajkumar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee did a business of 129.90 crores at the box office.

Apart from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Varun Dhawan starrer film Bhediya also entertained the fans a lot as a horror comedy in 2022. Performing well at the box office, this film earned around 66.65 crores.
After Stree and Bhediya, the pair of Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik have brought Munjya. The Abhay Verma and Sharvari Wagh starrer movie has achieved success by collecting 68 crores at the box office so far in 13 days of its release.
This film is still running in theaters. It is being estimated that Munjya can also touch the 100 crore mark at the box office.
