The festival of Tulsi Vivah is considered extremely sacred in Sanatan Dharma. This festival is celebrated on the Dwadashi Tithi of the Shukla Paksha (bright fortnight) of the month of Kartik, which falls on the day after or after Devuthani Ekadashi. On this day, Lord Vishnu awakens from a four-month yogic sleep, and all auspicious activities begin from this day. So, let's learn the key points related to this great festival.

Tulsi Vivah 2025 Auspicious Time

According to the Vedic calendar, the Dwadashi Tithi of the Shukla Paksha of the month of Kartik begins at 7:31 am on November 2nd and ends at 5:07 am on November 3rd. Therefore, this year, Tulsi Vivah will be celebrated on November 2nd.

Tulsi Vivah 2025 Puja Method

  • Place a Tulsi plant in your courtyard, balcony, or place of worship and decorate it with beautiful rangoli.
  • Offer Tulsi, dupatta, saree, and all other makeup items to Goddess Tulsi.
  • Place a Shaligram on the right side of the Tulsi plant.
  • Bathe Tulsi Mata and Lord Shaligram with Ganga water.
  • Apply sandalwood paste to Shaligram and roli to Tulsi.
  • Offer flowers, sweets, sugarcane, panchamrit, water chestnuts, etc.
  • Light incense and a lamp.
  • Rice is not offered to Shaligram, so offer sesame seeds or white sandalwood.
  • Chanting appropriate mantras, take seven rounds around Goddess Tulsi and Lord Shaligram.
  • After the wedding, perform aarti and distribute prasad to everyone.
